Kristen Aggers brings over twenty five years of experience training in dressage and has successfully shown and trained horses through the Grand Prix Level. She currently holds her USDF Gold medal and enjoys helping students and horses reach their full potential and achieve success.
While attending the University of Colorado and earning a Bachelor of Science as well as a Master of Science in Information Systems, Kristen also found time to compete on the CU Barrel Racing Team and IHSA Hunter/Jumper team. These experiences provided Kristen with a well-rounded approach to horse training and have enriched her riding as a whole.
Kristen believes it is her job as the trainer to help create a successful partnership between horse and rider.
It is important to base a training program on the rider’s ambition combined with the capabilities of the horse. Establishing a goal-oriented training program enables the rider to achieve the desired objectives in a sound positive environment.
Kristen has won numerous year-end and high point awards on her own horses as well as on client horses. Kristen believes that continuing education is a key component to her riding. She regularly rides with Sue Martin, Lilo Fore, and Jane Weatherwax in addition to participating in clinics with Elite riders.
